How about an interior sliding door? Saving space compared to a swing door, they now offer railless and very aesthetic systems. Sliding doors save floor space. But they are more expensive than hinged doors. It takes at least 400 € the system which is added to the price of the door itself. There are two sliding door systems: surface-mounted and integrated (or pocket), both without floor rails. 1. The surface-mounted system is placed directly on the wall. The door (or double door) then slides in front of the wall. The installation is simple, without masonry work. All you need is a rail and a covering, if possible coordinated with the door. 2. With an integrated or pocket system, the door slides inside the partition. A process which offers better aesthetics and an even greater gain on the ground, but which requires masonry work: possibly demolition of the existing wall and construction of a partition in BA 13.
