A Pop Art decor on the theme of Andy Warhol

A Pop Art decor on the theme of Andy Warhol

Pop art pope Andy Warhol (1928-1987) moved to the Grand Palais from March 18 to July 13, 2009: enough to inspire your decor! From Marilyn Monroe to Liz Taylor, passing through the Mona Lisa and Elvis Presley without counting the less known people, Warhol reinvents the portrait according to a process which is systematized. Warhol paints a picture of an entire society, and sets up a new form of artistic, serial, almost industrial production. Decorative side Adopt the artist's flagship themes for an offbeat decoration in strong colors. You will find of course the famous portraits of Marilyn Monroe in all their states: table (79 euros, Maisons du monde), clock (19 euros, Happygoodies), mug (15 euros, Rosenthal). Opt for the banana motif signed Warhol, which became the symbol of the rock movement of the 60s, like a candy box (12.90 euros, Evene Boutique). Display your dishes in the Flowers motif from 1966 (from 15 euros, Plum Party) or Campbell's Soup from 1962 (15 euros, Rosenthal). For those who want a personalized decoration, several brands offer to create Pop portraits in the Warhol style from your photos.
