Chez Marie everything is small, and, as the saying goes: "everything that is small is cute". This little girly nest of 36 m2 is no exception to the rule. Marie shows us around! "I moved here 5 years ago and have done no work except for a little bit of fresh paint. This apartment is a reflection of what I am, what I like! ", explains Marie. The young woman works at heart and shopping or DIY are done according to "the cuteness of things".
This beautiful crown of flowers and these folds, it was Marie who made them! Everything has its history in this very feminine interior.
"I'm greedy !" It is like a cry from the heart for Marie who loves good products with beautiful packaging. And if the packaging is beautiful, why put it away? On her work surface, Marie has created a beautiful, colorful and refined blend.
She even displays her passion for good things in her kitchen, literally and figuratively. Here is a nod to her idol Pierre Hermé which she had framed the flyer presenting the macaroons!
"I am not narcissistic but I have a weakness or even a fad for old antique mirrors," she admits. This one was bought by her grandmother for her in a flea market. She embellished her decor with small instant photos taken with her Fujifilm Instax mini 8 camera.
In the living room, we melt for the pink sofa - the Ploum Ligne Roset designed by the Bouroullec brothers. This sofa gives a charm to this cocooning corner. You want to curl up in the comfort of your seat while sipping coffee. This high-end designer sofa coexists with clever decorative objects at more affordable prices: a Fly coffee table, a Habitat pendant light, a paper garland from a children's birthday decoration kit.
The kitchen is bathed in light, it offers a practical design. Marie fixed a large Ikea worktop under and on which she placed the elements and the small household appliances.
As the apartment is very small, the rooms adjoin each other. Here Marie goes from the living room to the kitchen.
Above the second mirror in the living room - mottled too! -, Marie has a knitting message that is close to her heart.
"I like beautiful dishes and mugs, especially those with messages."
No doubt we are in the apartment of a fashion addict. And for good reason, this former BTS Fashion student kept from those years an intact passion for the beautiful pieces that she stores in her alcove under her mezzanine. Everything is stored in the shoehorn in this small space!
It is a 40s apartment with a nice parquet floor deliberately left raw, in its own juice. On the floor under the coffee table Marie has placed two small rugs side by side from Pimkie Home.
Marie loves trendy materials and colors such as marble, copper, gold. These basics remain timeless. So she set her sights on this marble top coffee table on which she placed a fun lamp containing a little penguin and a delicate R.I.V.E scented candle
Marie's little decorating tip
You don't know how to store your magazines? Marie has the solution for you: next to her fireplace, she improvised a magazine rack from a copper basket found at Hema.
